Yorkton and District Community Foundation is pleased to announce the Chrissie Quine Memorial Trust Fund Grant Recipients for 2023.
The Chrissie Quine Memorial Trust was created by a gift from the Estate of long time Yorkton resident Chrissie Quine - to the Rotary Club of Yorkton. Due to the impacts of the pandemic, at the club's 2022 AGM, the club made the difficult decision to dissolve and disband. The Rotary Club of Yorkton needed to find an appropriate charitable body that could continue to honor the requirements of the Trust established by Chrissie Quine.
Yorkton and District Community Foundation is pleased to be able to continue and honor the many years of charitable giving that Chrissie Quine and her established Trust has provided to Yorkton, Regional and Provincial charitable causes and initiatives.
In 2023, The Chrissie Quine Memorial Trust Fund awarded $1,976 to 3 charities that provide charitable services to youth and children in Yorkton, our local region and the province.
Chrissie Quine was a dedicated Yorkton resident & philanthropist that supported many charities and community causes throughout her life.
