YDCF Community Funds

The Intent of YDCF Community Funds

Yorkton & District Community Foundation in collaboration with several local and regional service providers identified 6 key areas of consistent need within our regional communities, and chose to create 6 Community Funds to provide a means to build the capacity to address those needs.

The YDCF COMMUNITY FUNDS  are endowment funds where donations are accumulated and invested, generating grants every year. As each fund grows - so do the annual grants generated and disbursed annually to charities in our communities. Each year - the overall capacity of each funds grows - and provides growing support to address the community needs specified by the fund name.

All the funds are open to donation by anyone and any amount may be donated. All donations are provided a charitable receipt.

Any YDCF Community Fund were total donations received have not yet achieved a $10,000 donation base, the total grant may  be granted out as the (default) General Community Fund.

Follow the links below to learn more about each YDCF FUND and how the fund is granted annually to our communities!

All of the YDCF FUNDS and several NAMED FUNDS may be accessed through our Annual Granting Cycle. Grants from the YDCF Community Funds are accessed by charities through our annual granting cycle.
